Welcome to the last day in our step-by-step Alaskan Sourdough Starter video diary. If you’ve made it this far, you’re pretty much guaranteed to succeed with Day 4.

Day 3 of reviving a dried sourdough starter. We give the active starter its first feeding, and look for it to double (or more!) in size for Day 4.

Day 2 of reviving a dried sourdough starter. It’s boring. Best case: 24 hours of just watching and waiting. Worst case: You have to stir some water into it.

Day one with your Alaskan Sourdough Starter: Mix the dry packet with water and flour. Then you leave it sitting on the kitchen counter. There’s video!
